The free verse, Loneliness, seems to be the result of the sudden misunderstanding of the tools we have always used to avoid those feelings. Whatever the guide was has been removed.

From our better selves, detach?
From fellow beings, disconnect?
Our loneliness is keen.
Thank you for being proactive .

You're not sharing your own feelings on this poem. It's an objective/selective view and left me cold.
You're concerned about rhyming but it doesn't have to.

You are right. I do not actually share my feelings. I rather share what I confront if I do not see the bigger pictures of life or my role in those bigger pictures. Life is not a 'free lunch'. Thank you for your candor in sharing your feelings and thoughts about the poem.

Sometimes, perhaps, we all get stuck. Then, we must get unstuck if we wish to move forward, productively. It might be more important for us to be flexible than to be right. I wonder how you might react to this note.

I like to be flexible but being right is nice also.

Being right is not wrong. But we need to check if we are really right or are just engaging in wishful thinking.

I hope we both have better experiences in the future. Thank you for communicating with me.
