Gansach,
An excellent, sullen poem, about the end of nature's splendor (colorful fall foliage),
that's lost to winter's chill. I like the symbolism in this poem too.
It could mean the end of an era, or the end of life itself.
Excellent poem, ganache.
Best wishes,
Cindy

This is beautifully written with the pinecones hanging on the pine tree. I could almost close my eyes and see the clusters of pinecones. You have described it very well and I enjoyed it very much. Have a good day and God bless. Patricia.

This poem, Signs, acknowledges that the seasons are changing and the early notifications are all around for us to see. The colors, the movements, and the feeling in the air, all say change.

You describe the coming of fall beautifully but I am just not ready for summer to end yet! Even though Fall is my favorite season. It is too short and it leads into Winter. lol Nicely done poem. lovely descriptions.

I feel the same, but my summery poems for this section of the book have run out-LOL! While I love early fall, I'd like summer to last longer, too. Thanks so much for your review!

I have seen that sign many times in the past, in a pine forest, the pine cones make very good burning. Great images you have verbally painted, and the pine needles spread across the forest floor, beautifully written, blessings Roy

This poem is written very well with strong words describing nature itself. All your poems are beautiful, but I really love this one. I can tell you have an open mind and can truly see the beauty all around us. Great poem.

Hi gansach
This is a pretty take on pinecones. The pine tree never sheds its leaves in the fall.
But it does shed Pineneedles which are leaves, and seeds from the pinecones. Those seeds are food for many many many different animals
You did an excellent job for your rhyming. That was no set meter and I thought the poem was beautiful.
I enjoyed reading your poem
Good job. Thank you for sharing.
And the animals playing with the seeds plants more pine trees
Plus, I'm sure there are many nests of birds in that tree. Probably some snakes too. But snakes have to eat just like everybody else. They go after the eggs mostly
