Oh goody. Do love that ghostly Eleanor, and Danni is a spunky one. I like this Matthew more and more. A bit rough around the edges, but that is what makes him interesting. Esther

Matthew will get better as time moves forward... He's been alone too long and looks to the bottle instead of to his own strength. Danni keeps him on his toes and Eleanor...well, Eleanor is Eleanor, and she won't stand for his sitting back and giving up...Smiles, Carol

I see you've been writing well while I've been among the missing. I'll try to catch up and get back on track with your story as I'm able. It is a good story thus far, and Jenna seems to have her hands full with both the pageant and being a journalist.
I hope you're doing well. Blessings & hugs. Carol

Thanks for asking. My hubby finished his cardio rehab, and I finished therapy for dizziness and balance issues. I feel like we spent weeks in our car! I have a little time now, before the next round of doc appts begins for Mitch.

I keep you inmy thoughts and prayers. I know what it's like to have health issues but still be worried about your husband. I lost Mike five years ago today and it still hurts so bad.

BOO is reading...The dark, ominous clouds outside her window, ominous is a word that fits good here.

"It is! Arthur Bennett is dead. Police say it was murder. Right here outside our back door." Oh, this is an interesting development. Arthur's murder a random killing, or was it somehow part of a darker picture? BOO is wondering about this.

"You're being such a snot-nose today, Matthew." Danni remained invisible but continued to talk, "Forgive him, Jenna. We were at Bennett's reveal this morning when his lady friend dropped in. It wasn't a pretty sight." Nice paragraph! The ghost is here!

He's a significant investor in the pageant world. I see, "No, Jenna, darling, it's not Danni." Eleanor is back?

Eleanor hesitated as she considered her answer. "I can say you need to be careful because the pageant isn't what it appears to be. Sinister people are lurking in the background." Hum, wonder who these people are?
gentle breeze, another word for gentle breeze is a zephyr. As you know, well written and thought out! Guess that we have two ghosts on this case. Eleanor is helping danni, which Danni is in charge of overseeing Matthew.

BOO!

Please don't take it wrong; this is a great story, but I can't seem to get into it like the others. I will read a couple of more chapters and see if it appeals to me a bit more.

Oh, that makes me sad, April. I'm rewriting the draft since losing the story so please tell me what you think is missing...for you...why isn't this story generating with you. I really wouold like to know as I rewrite. You were one of my biggest cheerleaders so I need to know what I am missing.
    Thanks and love, Carol

I'm saving a six for the next chapter!! Lol.
I'm so glad that Eleanor is back with us, and Danni. I have got used to them being around and wouldn't like to lose them. Now, this sounds like the pageant's murders have started already, and I'm thinking there will be more. But it seems that Jenna must be very careful, according to her mother. And it looks like Naomi really has got under Donatelli's skin today! Now to read the next chapter. Well done, my clever friend. :) Sandra xxxx

I don't think you've read my post about Needing a FRiend so you aren't aware that I lost three chapters of the story. I thught i was losing my mind. But I'm back in control and I'll start again, but not today... Thanks for reading this chapter and I hope you enjoy the next. I've got to find that "umph" that makes my characters come alive and I lost it. Thanks so much, Sandra.

No! How did that happen? I've been all over the place this week, and have missed lots. I'm so far behind everyone. I'm so sorry, my friend. I'm off to read the next chapter now. I'm posting another poem in a minute, a serious one. Not my usual lately. xxx

Everything okay with you? I've been a little worried since I didn't hear from you. I don't know how it happened, but it knocked the wind out of me.... Looking for an air pump now to blow me back up. LOL

Yes, everything is fine. I went away for a couple of days, and came back to a load of housework and catching up here. Sometimes it gets too much, but my favourites on here have to be read. I could NOT miss a chapter of yours. I've just read you needing a friend. Broke my heart. xxx

Thanks, Sandra... It still stings but I suppose it's just me feeling sorry for myself. I'll get my act together and get back to writing soon. Besides, I probably made a few happy that it made me slow down in posting.....but they better not hold their breathe because I'll be back. LOL

It's good to see Eleanor, I'm afraid when one has favourite characters what can you do? Eleanor's not sure about Danni's commitments thank focus on the job, an Donatello needs her, a beautifully written episode, well done, blessings Roy

Eleanor is fortunate to be able to make these quick trans-atlantic flights so she can keep Danni on the straight and narrow. And gives myself and the reader a chance to enjoy her a little more. thanks so much for the review and comments.

Donatelli can do grouch very well. Of course, he seems to have been doing his "exercises" with Naomi when Danni showed up. Is this Eleanor the artist that starred as the ghost in your previous story?

Yes, Eleanor made a fast trans-Atlantic flight, leaving Charles behind so she could check on Danni and Jenna. LOL, I couldn't say goodbye to my characters, so here they are again. I hope you enjoy them.

I'm feeling happy now that Eleanor is officially back! I like that you've adopted "Danni" as "Danny's nickname" --

Poor Donatelli has his emotional dominoes all a kilter and it feels like they're going to fall one after the other if he doesn't watch out.

Jenna and Eleanor interacting is a sweet reminder of the Mom/Daughter reveal in your last book.

What do you figure? Three chapters more before Garth is at least mentioned?

I'm going crazy trying to get this story going but I can't to it twice a week...we will still be looking for the criminals and no idea of the real crimes a month from now and poor Garth will be hanging out in the wings wondered when he's suppose to burst on the scene.... LOL thanks for reading and see you on Sunday!

Hope you are feeling better and the situation is getting uder control.

Again. Nobody should be dictating your pace. You do YOU! EVERY chapter is saved... People can read at their leisure!

How are things with "C" and "T" --I've been praying for them!

OOOOOH! I just now got it. It didn't click until Eleanor appeared and Jenna called her Mother. It's Jenna from Unfinished Brushstrokes, even though her name was Jenna Bradford instead of Jenna Mason. (I hope I'm understanding correctly) If I'm correct, I now feel warm and fuzzy, with characters I know.

You are correct and I forgot her name was Bradford. I should go in and change that.... Great catch on your part. Yes, it's our Jenna and she's moving forward with life. I am trying to use the same characters so the reader and I keep our connection.

Yay, we have Eleanor and Jenna back! I hope they can help Grouchy Donatelli. It's good the Eleanor and Danni have a high speed transport system over the Atlantic. It's great that Jenna has such a thoughtful assistant. Reminds me of your other investigative reporter and her assistant.

I guess I tend to give my characters some of the same traits...the ones I like to find in people. Yes, Eleanor needs to be able to get back to Charles as much as she can. And Danni isn't one to stay in one place for long. LOL I think Matthew needs a love life...
