This was a beautiful poem. July has certainly been a rainy month here. Two straight weeks of rain and thunderstorms. Today, little chance of rain but it is cooler and no humidity. The rain does renew life. Beautifully written. Gretchen

It's true - when we're parched for rain during the summer, we can really celebrate a "July rain" because it's been such a long time since our last rainfall and our plants are thirsty! Great pictures and poem to describe this event.

It's certainly been that kind of July for us here in Upstate NY! So much rain! Everything looks lush and verdant. The weeds are having a field day, though, so that's the down side. But this is a lovely take on how to view rain. Thank you for this unusual slant. xoxo

I must admit I'm not that fond getting wet, it can be dam cold too, but summer rains can be quite different, especially if one has suffered a prolonged drought, beautifully written, blessings Roy
