So what is a burrito walker? Someone wrapped tightly in a blanket while walking? Are they actually sleepwalking?
One small thing generally I suggest is to reduce the use of parenthetical phrases. They tend to have the effect of taking the reader out of the moment, and while it enables you to add more descriptive or narrative content, it is often at the expense of flow. I used parentheses all the time when I was a young writer, and now I barely use them at all.

Someone wrapped tightly in a blanket while walking. Sadly or thankfully not sleepwalking.

Yep, I sure like being burrito wrapped when I'm sleeping. I do it myself.
But yesterday I took it to the extreme. I didn't know that my one of my feet hadn't gotten out from under the covers. So when I tried to get up my whole burrito wrapped around my waist and almost threw me out of my wheelchair, which I was trying to get into.
I tried several times to stand up and pull it out from under me because I thought I was just sitting on it. But no, that just made it all that much more dangerous
So, lesson learned always get both feet out from under the covers before trying to sit over the edge of the bed and stand up and transfer to the wheelchair
Your story is humorous. So are the burrito walkers the ones that have themselves wrapped in their bedsheets as they go down the hallway.?
Or does it mean that they wrapped themselves around like a burrito with warm clothing?
