I liked that you are bestowing human emotions on animals .Even monsters go through sorrow. Mermaids are interesting characters. Her soft voice soothes his grief.

Beautiful work by the FanArtReview artist. This is sweet to think that the sea monster can show grief and mourn for to his love. Then the caring mermaid is there to comfort him. It's a great image. judi

Nice tribute to the little seahorse. Seahorsies are so cute.
Hey, you just gave me an idea for a poem, but it's not seahorses it's unicorns. I don't know why associates seahorses with unicorns. Maybe because they're both magical. I think the seahorse is the only male who gives birth to the young. I don't know, why but there must be some biological reason why that happens.
Here did you mean depths?

uncharted depts"
Here. it sounds a little bit awkward to say the two water dwellers aren't all of the sea creatures water dwellers ? I would say around the two great friends. It's up to you, but I'm just letting you know that it doesn't look right to me
"seahorses, minnows
swim around the
two water dwellers"

Depths is meant as emotional depths. I have many poems about seahorses in my portfolio, another sea creature I am stuck on. Thanks for reading and enjoying. Water dwellers is just descriptive, maybe friends would be better. Thanks again. Elaine
