"Let faith prevail and you shall sail" is a marvelous use of words. I like the image of a sea of sadness in your words, it is a vivid description that brings forth the feeling of melancholy but you encourage the reader to rise above. Excellent use of words.

I know it was a requirement of the contest so you had to, but I think you have perfect meter. Perfect rhymes. Nothing forced
And I like the theme of your poem, especially the first stanza
And, how at the beginning it was kind of sad and drab
But, then at the ending, it's very uplifting
