Excellent writing. I love the way you brought all the plots together in one grand final. Now, I'm willing to bet that you are going to find Eleanor's long-lost daughter, and I have a hunch who it might be.

Hi Carol, I'm so glad that mother and daughter are back together, just as it should be. You wrapped that up very nicely, but the story is far from over. There's still a few lose ends. I love the story. A big hug, Ulla xcx

HI, Ulla..You are almost there. I have posted two chapters and on Sunday the finale will post. It's hard to say goodbye to these characters. I enjoyed writing this novel very much.

A great and moving reunion between mother and daughter. And a satisfying fury unleashed by Margaret against the evil judge who had deceived her for so long. Great job with this chapter!

thanks, Helen! I just had to let Margaret get her punch in since Doyle treated her so badly. She had to go out with the winning hand. Glad you enjoyed this chapter. Thanks so much.

And I got your hint about Jenna being Eleanor's daughter - due to the letter posted on her birthday. 😊

Good catch! I thought I should toss in a hint.... I think you will enjoy the last chapters. I know I did!

That fact that Jenna not only had contact not only as a friend, but an unknowing daughter of Eleanor, but this was fun, with the old charcters like Garth Woodman, and His two offsiders, and finessed being pals with Donatelli, but still rival, and of course, Eleanor sorting her family out, perhaps she can be a helper in the future, well dine, blessings Roy

Thanks Roy...Have to finish on a high not with good feelings all around. That's just me, I guess. Glad you enjoyed this story. I've got all three chapters written and just ready to post and then it will be wrapped up.

I LOVE what you revealed in the letters Jenna read. You are really shrewd. You knew all along who Jenna was and didn't give us a clue. If you did, I missed it. The Jenna story warms my heart.

Now, for Judge Doyle. Your description of what took place in the interrogation room was superb. I enjoyed every satisfying word as Doyle got what he deserved. I love how you are wrapping up all the loose ends.

Oooohhhh! Terrific! You said all the right things and made me soooo happy! I was hoping that Jenna would be a surprise at the end. And I couldn't let Doyle with out Margaret getting at least one punch in! It's a feel good chapter! Thank you so much, Lorraine. I am beyond thrilled.

Well now I know how Jenna fits. I wondered then that child given up for adoption was going to appear and you've kept her hidden in front of our eyes the hold time. That was cleaver move. I'm sure Charles is going to get to meet his daughter. I love the way you are putting this to rest with the Judge going down. I wander if you are going to let Nick survive.

I was hoping no one would figure it out that Jenna was the daughter until the end. It's like finding a special treat at the bottom of the basket. I think Nick is still teetering on the edge but he's young so he'll make it...besides he would be a good candidate to give out the scoop on the Judge. Thanks, Beth.

I think the clue was that the letter was written on her birthday. I might not have gotten it if you hadn't mentioned that.

Yes that was the first clue. Good for catching it!

Awwww!! That was a lovely ending to this chapter. I'm glad Margaret and Eleanor are close again, and it was lovely that Megan is back with her mother and has told her she loves her. I loved it that Doyle was finally in the hands of the FBI, that was wonderful!! You still have a few things to tie up. I know now who Jenna is, she hasn't twigged yet. Aww, this is going to be an amazing ending to an amazing story and I can't wait to read it. Well done, my amazing, clever friend, :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you so much...I loved that there were little surprises coming right up until the end so that it didn't just drop off and say the end. The next parts get a little away from the crime scene and more to Eleanor and Charles. I hope you like it.

I'm eager for people to read...Maybe I should just release another chapter. There are three chapters to go. Or should I make sure the finale is on Sunday? I don't have that many followers so I suppose it doesn't really matter.
reply by Sandra Stoner-Mitchell on 25-Jul-2024
You could post two of the last three, one tonight, one tomorrow, then leave a day out and post the final chapter on Sunday. That way I get my fix! Lol. xxxxx

Ah, I guessed. Jenna is Jennifer, and that's why they are so close! I am so glad that the judge has now been fully exposed, and his various roles in so many corrupt activities will bring about his final downfall. Well done.

Yes, Judge Doyle is going to see what the other side of the bars look like. Things will be much better in Bayside. I've finished the book last night...ended up three chapters so I'll give everyone a rest and space it out. Finale on Sunday. Thanks again!

"Thanks to you, we have a chance to make a real impact," Donatelli said, his voice softening. "Let's get these girls home and start the healing process." Well, human trafficking is happening at our southern border. The Democrats encourage it by allowing them to enter the USA as illegals. Doesn't seem to bother them. Reading,..The day has come. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I named her Jennifer. Not certain who she is yet or the adopted parents surname. I see letters provide answers. "Megan," Margaret whispered, her voice trembling, "I thought I'd lost you."

Her daughter answered, "I love you, Mom."

Meanwhile, Eleanor's body faded from view, content that her family was back together. One happy family again! Least for a while? Another dandy of a episode.

BOO!

I think you are caught up, my friend. Take a deep breath. I finished writing the book last night...ended up being three chapters but I'll proof them again and then slow down on the posting. Finale on Sunday. Thanks again for all your effort.

It sounds as if Jenna is Eleanor's daughter but hasn't figured it out. Megan and Margaret did know who blighted their lives and will testify against the Judge. The only thing left to do is get Trevor out of jail for murder.

I am imagine it was the furthest thing from her mind since she was so close to Eleanor.... and Eleanor told her.... which she has regrets I am sure. They do have Trevor for the drugs so he might have to do a little time... a lesson for him too!
