OMG, those poor girls. But the kidnappers don't know who THEY'RE dealing with. Lol. At least these girls won't be sold, if our gang get there in time!!
Those were really sad letters, I'm sure Dylan will pass this on to Charles. He'll be so upset! All those years. But what about the child Eleanor had? Charles child. Will he want to find her? So much happened, he will be so distraught! I think I have one more chapter to read. Thank goodness the next chapters will be on here soon. Well done, my very talented friend. :) Sandra xxx

    I've posted through Chapter 23...
I wanted to express the emotions I think they would have been feeling when written. I hope those feelings came through. I am glad that you felt those vibes.
So much more is about to happen....

Oh dear that was an ominous chapter all way round. No good news on any front. What on earth is to become of Megan is anyone's guess. It doesn't look good. A big hug, Ulla xcx

Ulla, you are not suppose to read the chapters backwards. Reminds me when my daughter (a lefty) learned to write in school she wrote everything from right to left... oh boy! Good news is on its way and I hope you love the finish. It got an extra chapter when I was trying to end it but that's to be expected from this author. LOL

I was wondering if Charles and Eleanor had a child together. I don't suppose it could be Jenna, who perhaps grew up as someone else's daughter? Just a random thought - but then she would be cousin to Dylan, so perhaps best not. we want them to get together!
Oh dear, what a terrible chapter for these girls. it seems that Nick's ramblings will be ignored, and the girls' fate left hanging, as they are seemingly all chained and blindfolded. (Should you therefore describe Sarah?)
Well done! Very enjoyable read.

I need to go back and adjust that part about the blindfold. In my mind it was just the writer describe the scene but I guess most took it as Megan's point of view. I never get that stuff right! thank you so much Wendy. The story is reving up to wrap up. Hope you enjoy it to the end.

So, clung to a life raft, feeling lost at sea, Moby Dick in the room, and Charlie Tuna chumming the waters. Megan and the girls shark bait. :-) Thanks for sharing.

You are something else, my friend! I can see you have that evil brain of yours working in high gear today. Thank you for the chuckle!

Jenna reads some of Eleanor's war letters to Dylan and they learn about the romance. Nick may be trying to save Megan, who is chained up and blindfolded in what sounds like a ship or warehouse. On problem: You have given physical descriptions of one or two girls, but Megan can't see them because of her blindfold.

Thanks for the review and comments. I'm thankful that someone keeps me on my toes. I don't know if Nick will survive or not but his subconscious is trying to help Megan or maybe its payback to the judge.

Well written, like always, but small detail needs to be fixed. They are blind-folded and Sarah is an older willowy brunette. "a willowy brunette". I have a true story about rescuing sex slaves. Your story is stirring thoughts. Esther

I can't begin to imagine anyone doing something so horrible to another human being but I guess when you are evil and wicked you forget that these are people. Thanks for reading as always.

Great that Dylan and Jenna could share those secrets written so long ago. Perhaps the two of them will become an item and fulfill the love Eleanor and Charles couldn't have. Hope they find Eleanor and Charles' baby!

There's hope for a change in Nick. And Sarah seems to be a good leader for the captured girls.
One question:
I was surprised at this sentence "Their chance of finding Megan slipped away." The nurse just left Nick. Would she know about Megan?

My mind is racing. Wildly! Could Dylan be Elanor's love child with Charles?
Maybe not a nephew but a secret? (I know with you anything is possible!)

You've demonstrated the sex trafficking ring very effectively. Oh my. There are so many people to worry about and I'm comforted ONLY by the fact that YOU are the author and Eleanor and Garth are your creations...so it's all got to turn out okay!

Yikes!

I am so tired at the moment, but you still manage to make me smile and want to keep going. There's so much more that I want to share in this story, but some things do have to end....at least by July 31sr. LOL

So, Megan is being trafficked as other girls are that she's with, so Doyle is more of a sleeze than what I first thought, it's going to take some doing to get these girls out of trouble, also the letters that Eleanor told of her love for Charles, the truth is coming out now, well done, blessings Roy

Yes, there's so much more unfolding...just a little at a time. Jenna and Dylan are learning things Eleanor never shared.... More to come!

The story of Eleanor and Charles is a powerful love story. Based on the love story in your last novel, I see you are a romantic at heart. I'm glad Dylan will be able to tell his uncle how much Eleanor loved him.

Now that he's beat to a pulp, it seems like Nick is afraid and willing to talk.

Hopefully, Megan is found quickly, or she will be sold as a sex toy never to be found.

This story is riveting, with many moving parts. I look forward to reading how you pull all the parts together.

I'm trying. Not sure if Nick is talking from his subconscious state or if he's aware of what he's telling people. Haven't thought it out completley. If he survives he would make an excellent witness.
