I just published a similar poem recently. It's my current active post about the same thing about looking back is fine, but you still have to live for today
And that certain memories won't be as clear as they were then. Memories such as smelling a rose, feeling in the cold. Those are things that you can't duplicate in a memory you can visualize the roses, but you can't smell them. You can visualize the ice, but you can't feel the cold.
It is similar to yours in that it's telling you to live for today. But it also reflects on yesterday. And I ask, can you have the feeling of joy you had when you first did this you might still have the feeling of fear
Anyway two takes on the same subject
