This was a very good synopsis of ACTS chapter 8. Jesus said, if we are not of Him, we have as our father the devil. I believe Simon was like many of our celebs and politicians today, and even common folk in mediocre jobs. Once they get a small taste of power, they deny the source of that power and become rooted in their own ego.

Thank you. I really enjoyed this chapter. Acts is one of my favorite books in the bible

I love that book! I remember years ago when I did not know the Bible, hearing my friends talk about it and I didn't know if it was "Acts" or "Ax"!

I haven't read any of your other installments but this one stands very well on it's own.I Ike how you break this down to language we all can understand. I especially like how Peter tells him he can't buy the gift of God. Thank you for sharing.
