Those workers who have to deal with the public put up with so much to get the power back on. What a wonderfully written story. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Hi, I appreciated a nonfictional writing because as a reader, I like to learn something factual from it of anything whether it's good or bad, at least some facts to gain some insights from it. I like catchy phrases like, "Danger is my business," and your title, "Names," which I did not see any unusual "Names" from it... it would be awesome to get a few unusual tree names or something like that. Lastly, Mickey said, "It was a scary job," and I did not see any solid scary, and dangerous job description from it. Also, the ending, this closing sentence stated that, "I want Mike to realize what a full life he lived before his accident," is pretty intriguing, and I wish a bit more elaborate to it. I'm sorry for a 4star because I still feel something is still a bit missing, and I hope to see a font bigger in the next chapter or so... I wish you all the best!

Hi Liz, I'm looking forward to seeing where you're taking this. I understand it's about your brother, Mike, and and what led up to an accident he had at his work. Looking forward for more. Ulla xcx

Thank you for your compassionate review . My brother actually was hit by a car on his bicycle on his way home from work a week before his 40th birthday. In the beginning I told about the stages of recovering from head injury and now what I'm doing is going back to all the things he did before he was injured. He had quite a full life. Now I'm also morphing some of the story into what he is dealing with now. It is not pretty. His head injury strength & recovery has deteriorated.
I'm going through his research steps to see what can be done. He went through the stages 4 and 5 back when he was in his 40s. Now he's in his '70s which seems to have complicated all recovery.

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. It's tragic that an accident should define your brother's life. xx

Thanks for sharing about Mickey's / Nike's names and about the technical, legal, and hazardous nature of his job. Whenever we had power outages during an ice storm, I'd pray for the safety of the workers.

The definition of right-of-way is the right of one vehicle, vessel, or person to take precedence over another. Reading...the local power company can cut down trees on a person's property without permission? I don't get why the power companies don't bury electric wires underground. Then no trees can fall on power lines. Yep, it's probably because it's cheaper to keep old telephone polls and replace them. You know a lot about right of ways and surveying. Guess this is educational in a sense. Need a court order for the power companies to get a right of way?

Hey boo Well come back. I had to do a lot of research about the right away. Yeah I think the court has to be involved. That's why when people lose and the power company wins the court stood behind them. Thank you for your involved review.

Oh yes, along with emergency workers, both voluntary and employed, fireman and the volunteers that make the life a little more comfortable for us, they deserve a medal. The fact that Mickey and Hank put up with the terrible rhetoric of ungrateful people is terrible, beautifully written Liz, blessings Roy

This was a great installment. You taught me a lot about the responsibilities of working for the power company. It will be exciting to her of the snow day. Thank you for the love you display for Mike.

It's getting a little more difficult because of my brother's story I'm trying to get him to focus a little bit but it's working. What about you Are you doing any writing?

I've been striving for two posts daily. But, I don't promote a lot of them.

I never have enough money to be able to do that I don't know how other people do it. I work hard to get enough to post one but then I start working cuz I know I'm going to have to renew it.

It never occurred to me that the men who do these jobs were in any kind of danger. Sometime I see branches cut away from beautiful trees to make room for the power lines and it makes the trees look deformed and awkward but It never thought anyone would get upset enough to cause real problems.over it. This was very informative.

I can see where this job could be very dangerous. We've had a few instances, in town, where the electric companies right away interfered with a few people's desire to have trees. The electric company won.
either Mickey nor his co-worker and buddy Hank had any idea of (comma after 'buddy,')
