What a lovely cinquain! Beautifully written, thought provoking, positive. I particularly like the sound and meaning of the first word "sifting" that sets the tone for your write.

Thank you, Helen, first for your review, and second for ordering a copy of my book. In answer to your question, I used to computer to pixelate the images. I would need two lifetimes to paint them by hand. I so appreciate your support of my efforts.

A lovely cinquain. I do like "the gravel of life" idea, producing the occasional gemstones. They anre more valuable because of their rarity. And the conclusion I a good choice of word. Best wishes for your entry in n the contest.

Most of life is ordinary like plain gravel but there are the rare and wonderous moments we will keep in our mmeories as precious treasures. This one sounds like a winner.
