I looked back six pages to see if you had a new post, and not one showed up in my notifications. So I came here to ask if you were ok because I was worried about you, and here is one you wrote two days ago. Oh no, it must have been blind. I am sorry I didn't see it till now. Anyway.........
I love this and by the time I was done reading it I was with the class thinking of some and after I started writing the review I couldn't help myself but feeling like a kid and going back and changing some I missed. I am the biggest kid at heart you will ever see. I love this kind of stuff. Your stories R addicting.
This reminds me of a homophone and homonym poem I wrote a little while ago. But this is sew adorable. I love Mango, Bert, Billy and any of your characters, as ewe make learning something knew or being reminded of them again a fun activity, a game of sorts.
I think the weigh you did this was sew spot on to my teaching methods. We always learned in fun ways. And I am doing this in a hurry, dear won, so know correcting my grammar, punctuation or spelling or anything like that here,

That little mango seems to be teachers pet. At least here she enjoy all of the wisdom that comes from their teacher. I'm not gonna try to spell her name here lol
This is a very imaginative story, and I think it would appeal to children. I thought I saw a couple of big words that they might not understand.

What a wonderful story for children at Tisha's now about homophones and captivates their attention by having each student be an animal and I guess the teacher is also an animal but she's an owl that's right. Just wonderful. I want my children to read your story.

I love homophones, i embarked on writing a poem containing them, but I thought it a little flippant to do so, so I abandoned the idea, heh he, I love this educational short work, this is a worthwhile post, well done, blessings Roy

Very interesting approach. I would recommend changing this from General Fiction to Children's Fiction. It fits better considering the context and subject matter. Good luck in the contest.

A tale that is a treat here - education happens easier if we can turn it into a little fun. Of course we all know that can't happen all the time. But here we have a good example of how learning can be fun. An enjoyable read. Stories like these could form an interesting book!!

I love that you have chosen anthropomorphized characters to deliver this lesson. The characters, especially Mrs. Snodwimple, Billy, and Mango, have distinct personalities, however, I believe you can add more depth, particularly with Mango, who is mentioned as the brightest but doesn't demonstrate this clearly in the story. The story flows well, and the pacing is good, but the ending feels a bit abrupt.
Despite this, I really enjoyed reading this story and the clever way it teaches in a humorous way. - Terry
