So much emotion is a short, simple poem that every one who has even been hugged by a child can relate to. I love it from illustration through the last word. Perfect poem for a Sunday morning.

How lovely to see you again! And I just read Terry's story about your lunch together!! There is a special joy we receive from such exuberant love. Thank you so much for a lovely review, and for the generous extra star, greatly valued.

Your poem beautifully captures the heartfelt emotion of being hugged by a loved one. The simplicity of "Small arms hug me tightly" conveys a deep sense of warmth and affection. The expression "Nanny, I love you, SO SOMUCH!" is both endearing and sincere, emphasizing the strong bond and joy you feel. The poem's brevity adds to its impact, making it a touching and poignant tribute. Overall, it's a sweet and emotional piece that effectively communicates your feelings.

Isn't this the most beautiful Cinquain ever? In ANY form this unbridled and innocent outpouring of love would melt this grandmom's heart -- but knowing you've written it, and your sweet grandchildren love you this much makes me beam brighter than the sun!

I'll be smiling for the rest of the day now!

Thank you so much. Glad to give you that smile in your heart. She's with us today, and I've missed her the last few weeks due to three lots of Covid (my husband had it twice, very close, and I got it once but then followed it with a head cold!) Such a joy to see her again with her exuberant love. I love your review. Thanks you so much.

Ahhhh, yes! Children's love is the best because it's so honest and true - just unbridled feelings that they're not the least bit self-conscious about showing. Why does that have to leave us, I wonder? Why do we feel it's necessary to shroud that?

Anyway, wonderful picture to go with such perfect words! xoxox

I now know the feeling you're talking about, since having become a grandmother. My hannah is the best little girl, who wraps her arms around my heart. Thank you for sharing.
