A seductively beautiful poem. I love the colors you used. Where do you get your artwork? Do you do it yourself? I always compliments your piece perfectly. thank you for sharing.

Gogyohka poems didn't have a name until 1983? Of course, an outsider gets the credit for a Japanese poem created in 1910. So, the Japanese had to call the poetry genre something, right? Breathtaking image and colorful words that match. Embrace a sea of passion. A mermaid pops into my mind after reading this. This poem has many metaphors. The same words mean something different to different people.

Yes, I think the hardest thing to do in life is to let go of one's.fear and plunge into the deep end, after all some have been taught to swim that way, and perhaps falling in love needs courage, beautifully written, blessings Roy

The sea has seduced many people from years passed and continues to do so today. Of course, it's not the only seductress around. Your presentation and poem are perfect. Thank you.

I love that you used the ocean as a seductress. And it has seduced many. From sailors, swimmers, surfers, marine scientists, to poets and artists. This was full of passion and the urge to let go of passions. Beautiful. Gretchen

Well she certainly looks like the "passion of the sea." She is beautiful and very enticing, not unlike those mythical sirens with their alluring songs and words. Stunning and well illustrated.

Love the personification of the sea: those "salty kisses" and "untamable waves." Your verse oozes an overwhelming sense of passion and liberation, as ever, beautifully composed and presented. Take care Debbie.

This was an interesting little poem that appears to be a good candidate for the contest. The structure seemed right and the rhyming didn't seem forced. Good job and good luck. Have a blessed day

This is a beautiful poem in a style that intrigues me because I am unfamiliar with it. It's wonderfully well written. Thanks for sharing and happy writing with my best wishes.
