God's glory can be seen in beautiful colors out in nature. Excellent haiku form that shows how God is the prefect artist and beauty is all around us. Excellent faith based poem.

Not many words, but a very powerful message in our world today. I love the photo too. It goes very well with the poem. Anything that deals with Faith and God cannot be too bad. Keep up the good work!

As I read your poem, my first thought was Psalms 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

Faith in God brings hope. Your words are beautiful, and your chosen artwork resembling the aurora borealis, or Northern Lights, compliments the meaning of your poem.

the artwork and your poem reminded me of the aurora borelis. I have seen it once, but never as colorful as this. Beautiful sight to tie with your glorious thoughts of God and faith. I enjoyed it very much.

What a beautiful picture. God has given us such an amazing world. I look around at nature and it is truly remarkable. God surely is the light of hope and faith. Great poem.

Lovely haiku you have here Joan. I took a few haiku classes here on FS eons ago and enjoyed them very much. Do your remember AlvinTEthington? He passed sometime ago.
He was a bitbof a nut buster but I learned a great deal.
I love what you have here but it's more of a 5-7-5 than a haiku. Would you consider switching lines 1 and 3? Then you'd have

Light of hope and faith
seen in colorful display -
the glory of God

Both work but your 3rd line in a haiku should be the power punch.

Take care

This was a beautiful haiku. You got the syllable count right, and your mental image was lovely. The picture you supplied was great, too. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Hello Joan

A beautiful poetic description of God's glory in this ekphrastic write.

I haven't seen the aurora in reality but my soul always soars on the rare occasions that the rainbow's arc dominates the sky.

Your syllable count is out by one in the second line. An easy fix

Thanks for sharing your talent

Blessings, Julia
