Very nicely done. I have not lost a husband. I have however lost both my parents and a precious granddaughter. My mom never visits (she was one of those busy people who I am sure is organizing people in heaven), but I feel like my dad sometimes is present and reminds me. Little memories long forgotten return, old Amish sayings or songs he sang...they are precious. Good luck. Esther

Thank you for reviewing, and for sharing. I am fascinated by the Amish culture. I am in awe of the way that they live. I have tremendous respect for them.

What a wonderful and calming story, that I believe, by your words, brings acknowledgement to knowing this isn't all there is. Solid proof has been shown to you, a very special blessing for sure, and if I were you, behave... because you know who is watching! LOL! Best of luck to you with the contest!

Thank you! Yes, like Santa (lol), he sees all. I do feel very lucky and blessed to know that he is at peace now and no longer in pain. He had cancer and pulmonary vein thrombosis, so he basically suffocated. I know he was suffering and is in a better place.

A dragonfly buzzing around okay. A hat of his flying across the room. Okay. His voice telling you things will be alright, okay. But him urinating and washing his hands? That's just too ordinary and odd. I have never ever heard of that phenomenom. You are unique. You didn't even have to tell him to wash his hands! Good story. Karen

Thank you. I know it sounds strange, but I swear it's true. It actually happened another time when my three oldest grandkids were here. We were all in my bed, and my granddaughter suddenly sat up and asked what that noise was, so I paused the movie and my oldest grandson said "someone's using the bathroom". After a second, he said "wait a minute - we're all in here. Who's in the bathroom?" I told them what had happened before, and while I was telling them we all heard a flush, and my granddaughter said there was a shadow in the hall.

I think all things are possible. We make our reality by our choices. :-)

Hi

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!

It's funny that he should come as a dragonfly. There was this orange dragonfly hanging around my daughters pool. It would go to the same metal sculpture each time. And we all thought it was my husband because it showed up after he died. Unfortunately, it went away forever eventually.

Plus, I just love dragonflies. They're so beautiful and they eat so many mosquitoes and other pests.

If this is you and the story, then I'm happy your husband comes to see you. If it's nonfiction, you did a good job in selling it.

I enjoyed reading your story

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for reviewing and sharing. This story is true, and yes, it is about me. I feel so blessed to know that there is something after this. Also, to know that we can appear to those that need us.
