I agree that if we would just focus on our tasks and get them done, then we could get past them and relax
What i used to work, I would always make lists because in my job it was so complicated. If I didn't have a list then a task would go by the wayside and then I'd find out later when it was very painful to find out that I had forgotten to do it.
Then, I would just check everything off on my list. Add things to it and then eventually make a new list eliminating the tasks that had already been completed. It was a never-ending battle. Your poem illustrates this to the T

I could feel the tension of wanting to get something done but, not being able to. There is a need to be able to be productive shown here but also the difficult with the challenges of modern life. I like how you formatted this. The short lines seem to share an attempt to regain control and stay focused. Great job. So creative!
