I hardly think anyone can be compared to Hitler. I mean, who else killed 11 million people? I don't think Trump is hated to the degree that Hitler is. I really don't think the animosity directed toward Trump is inherently wrong.

Thank you for reading my poem. We will have to disagree on that. I believe the hate directed toward him is completely unfounded. He's not liked because of the kind of man he is, not his politics.

It is sad... But then he ridiculed a lot of people, including the disabled. He has no problem saying whatever he pleases

You wrote your opinions well, here are mine.
No one should be shot at. If dump the trump was in prison where he belongs no one would have shot at him. He grabbed a woman's vagina in public and bragged about it and women voted for him. He called women the "c" on tape and he was elected. He went bankrupt many times in order to avoid paying his contractors and increase his hidden wealth. And he committed multiple treasonous activities when running for office.If he gets in again he will try as hard as he can to strip women of our rights. He is now being sued by virtually everyone he ever met, yet the republican party offer him up as a shining example of American honesty and hope.
The world seems to be going completely off it's rocker. Everything I said is verifiable on the interenet.

Hi! Thanks for reading my poem. I will respectfully disagree with you, though. Donald Trump may have some character flaws, but who doesn't? I do believe that he cares about the country and the American people. I will for him in November because I'm not so sensitive about his calling people names, as long as he runs this country right. The last 4 years have been a nightmare, with the criminal Biden family in control. I do appreciate you taking the time to read my poem. It's great that we live in a country that allows us to have different opinions and voice them without getting shot ..oh, wait! That just happened.

I have never known such hatred of one man before. I have no idea where this hatred has come from? I know Trump is a womaniser and he has made no secret of it. He wanted to build a wall to protect American citizens from illegal immigrants, we have the English channel that puts most immigrants off. He has had some dodgy business dealings and most successful businessmen have pushed their luck at some time or another.
He has been hounded, abused, and shot at! What is going on in America and where is the freedom of speech that they hold dear? I just don't get it. Your poem is poignant and the madness should stop and people including ex-presidents should be able to have their say without being shot! After all America is not Nazi Germany, or is it?
Trump is not a racist, no is he anything like Hitler. He is pragmatic and outspoken, radical and astute. If he does win the election I expect there will be rioting in America and hope the Police can cope. What must Putin think of this complete shambles? I can tell you what he thinks, whilst there is no stability in America he can invade another country. Love Dolly x x x

I think this summarized my general feelings on the horrible event that occurred. Its terrible how everywhere you look people from both sides seem to be acting cruel to each other as if we're not all human. Specifically, I happened to see a rather gruesome photo of the shooters deceased face, and as a young adult at 24 I couldn't help but think that he just looked too young. A child really. It was only hours later that we learned he was but 4 years younger than me. I hate to say it but even in such a bloodied state after committing such a heinous act; all I could think seeing that deceased boy was how sad it all was.

Well said... no matter which way your political beliefs tend to land, it is truly a dark day in this great country when a life means nothing. It's such a shame that someone would resort to an attempted assassination out of hate.
