This was a great finish to the story, Douglas. You are certainly a master of the dramatic and action writing. I which I quite knew how to do that. All best, Ulla:)))

This was another well written chapter rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
This is the second go round for this book Doug?

Wowee Wow Wow, you sure packed some punch into your story. Don't forget to enter my contest of writing me a birthday card in the form of a limerick. Two stanzas or more. No set meter is mandated.. Call it limerick lite. Like this:

Douglas was Karen's good friend
These cards were starting a trend
He wrote his own card
It wasn't that hard
Just type it and then you push send

Your story is still glorious! Karen

You've left us with a wonderful hook for your next story. I can't wait to read it. You figured out how to rescue Greg and did a mighty fine job of it. You're an expert at describing action. You need to teach me. Great post.

So has the killing of Lilith meant that the mayor can no longer masquerade as the succubus and is now languishing in his real body as a serial killer in prison? However, the plot to kill Greg and Jenny is still very much alive. Apologies if I've got this all wrong as my head is still spinning from all the horror action. I'd like to know how bullets and fists made no difference to this supernatural being but Jenny's knife did. But this is OTT drama which is wonderfully described, magically transporting the reader into this other world. Will look forward to reading more. Well done, Doug. Some edits below:

Her eyes red from ba(w)ling (unless they were having sex:))
He was glad they had (gone) back to the Blazer
2nd ctack - c(r)ack
Lilith scowled and(,) using her tail
Jesse sp(at) out a bloody tooth

Katie Kelsey the cop was Lilith all along. The blade was forged by the witch in the last book to kill Kelsey as she knew she was a Succubus. Hope you enjoyed this one.

At last the demonic personage of Lilith has finally died, six centuries away from whatever spawned her. But this is a great finish Douglas, you're a good writer, where to now my friend, blessings Roy
Her eyes red from (balling) bawling?

So that's it? It's been a while since your last release. Im toom have been amiss in writing as no challenges have meandered forward to stir my emotions or demented thinking. Must be the summer doldrums.

Great story, great action. Terrific subterfuge that almost worked.
He was glad they had went back to the Blazer - Maybe 'had gone'?
But what was the 'black blade popped out of the front of her chest, extending from between her breasts'? Did Jenny have a magical knife?
Best wishes.

It was the witches blade in the last book. Jenny found it in Greg's office a few chapters back. Thanks for the fix and the awesome six!

Hi, Douglas. I hope you are well.

I found this chapter to be very well written and engrossing. I guess they killed Lilith. But, I have a feeling that she could come back to life

I'm not sure what happened to Greg why he's so groggy. I'm pretty sure Lilith iis responsible for that.

At least Greg got his girlfriend back Jenny

Here. So, Lilith is really Officer Katie Kelsey? Or has she revealed herself TO Officer Katie?

" Finally, Lilith revealed herself as Officer Katie Kelsey when she killed FBI Agent Kenneth Lee. "

I enjoyed reading your book chapter

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! Yes, Lilith was Katie Kelsey all along. There were clues in the other books in this series. I hope you join me for the last book that closes this out when I start putting it out.

I really enjoyed this chapter! The twists kept me on edge of my seat. And the unexpected shift with Lilith/Katie was fascinating. The interactions between the characters, especially in such intense situations, felt very real. I'm excited to see where the story goes next and how these characters will continue to evolve. Great job!
