This is an excellent commentary on Acts chapter 6. I like how you present the scripture and then intertwine it with your interpretation. Historically, discussion concerning biblical interpretation would have been socially expected, today it is socially unacceptable. What a huge change in culture. You, on the other hand have a full grasp of the fact that God's word never changes. Thanks for enlightening us.

The Book Of Acts is such a wonderful portion of the New Testament. Think of Luke, friends with Pawul, and observing and experiencing so much with him, then writing this book. Stephen did not deny Christ even till his end, and I'm sure is in a special place in Heaven now.

Acts is definitely one of my favourite books in the bible, which is why I chose it. Thank you!

Thank you for your presentation of Acts 6. You did it very well.
I don't know... the face of an 'angel' as opposed to transformed to shine like the sun? No place in scripture do any of the descriptions or discussions of angels suggest shining faces like the sun.
Best wishes.

Thanks
Angels usually appeared as humans but since Stephen is already human that would imply that there was something different. It's not the sun, but Daniel gives a more supernatural description of an angel:
Daniel 10:4-6
4 On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, 5 I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. 6 His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
Though the comment was my personal interpretation of what the scripture could have meant. Nobody really knows for sure

Daniel's angel was a specimen for sure.

I wonder what they actually look like when they aren't trying to blend in.
