I'm not sure that everyone in this story isn't guilty of something. LOL. And it sure is great that a granny is so hip to all the young people slang. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks as always for stopping by and reading my story. Of course, I'm far behind thanks to Mother Nature.

Hey, Carol, my dear, I've got a question that I figured you'd probably be able to answer. I can't seem to get the advance editor to add a line space between paragraphs or verses. Is there a way to get it done? It used to work just fine. Hugs, Ric

Hi...it might be the site. I had all kinds of trouble and then I finally ran all the paragraphs together, saved and then went back in and added the lines. It's a pain but it worked.

I've tried all that four times but it's never worked. Oh, well, thanks. I'll just leave it all running together.

I know I had trouble for days last week. I even erased the entire posting and started over and it wouldn't do it. I do know that I have to post and save under basic then go to advance, make my changes and save again. It's becoming work!

I've done all those things a few times and still can't get it to work properly. We shouldn't have to deal with it. I'm sure it's an easy fix if they'd just do it. :-)

Every chapter is chock full of new surprises and mysteries. It seems like the Judge is out to destroy Margaret's family...first her son, and now her daughter. Plus, what is Jonathon doing with the jeweler you just introduced? Only time (chapters) will tell.

The judge kidnapped Megan to get even with Trevor for trying to blackmail him. He thinks his way is the best way to get what he wants. We will see!

Judge Doyle has the morals of a flea. Props to you for capturing the dialogue between the two teens so well! I laughed at the "dope" joke...

Eleanor isn't up on today's slang and I'm not either!

Meanwhile, back at the jewelers, another plan is being hatched. The old "Switcheroo" of the necklace.

Oh brother.

Eleanor is going to be one ticked-off ghost!

My great granddaughters used the phrase so Nana caught on quick. Yes, Jonathan will definitely have a visit from Eleanor...one to change his life.

That judge can't be trusted and is actually a criminal. He should be disbarred for life. Your story is progressing at a fast pace. I have to go to what's next. Ulla xcx

Yes our judge is a creep and I hope he gets taken down. I am beginning to sweat this writing...

Nice description of the setting at the outset: Flickering neon signs cast their intermittent glow across the cracked pavement. It wasn't the type of neighborhood that screamed visit me.and what follows.

Oh dear! That Judge is one bad, bad boy. Kidnapping, too, now?

One minor SPAG, I think: She was happy to see Megan doing what every sixteen-year-old liked to do -- have (having?) fun!

I'm going to have to add 'so dope' to my vocabulary! Maybe my granddaughter will understand what I mean. I don't often surprise her!

I got the "so dope" from my granddaughters... I didn't have a clue until I heard them. LOL Webster will need a new dictionary to cover the change in our language.

Thanks again for all your comments, patience, time, and review.

That judge is pure evil. So he's behind the kidnapping of Megan and planned to be with Margaret when she got notified of that fact. But Eleanor is nearby. I'm sure she knew that the teenage girls were seeking trouble at that stranger's mansion!

Eleanor is new at this ghost stuff and thought when they said they were going home for a nap...they were safe. When she does learn of it... well, I'm sure she'll have something to say about it. LOL

A most dramatic chapter, and very well written. Young people are prone to making choices exactly like that, and it is their undoing. Sounds like the judge was responsible, and he has no scruples.

Yes, Trevor didn't stop and think...he just knew he had something to say and he did. It could have been much worse, but Eleanor (the aunt he'd ignored) came to his rescue.

This work has reached the exceptional level

This plot gets more interesting by the chapter. Megan and Sasha must be at least 16, since Megan drove, but also very spoiled and ignorant. They never seemed to consider the party or the guy might be dangerous. Eleanor had no idea what trouble the girls could get into and it sounds like the judge had something to do with it.

Sometime being too privileged you lose sight of what life really is...Megan and Sasha are 16 and they think life is easy street and fun! thank you so much for your review and the awesome stars. Your support is so appreciated and knowing you are enjoying the story means so much more.

So, it seems like Doyle has succeeded in having Megan kidnapped knocking out Nick and leaving Sasha in a quandary. But of course Eleanor knows so she might interfere in the process of rescuing Megan...perhaps, a great story is hotting, and I see in the stars, Doyle getting his, well done Carol, blessings Roy
