Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. I am sure many people could have written that goodbye letter to their spouse. Of course, not a eloquently as you did. The presentation was perfect.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and an extremely powerful one, full of regret and longing, for what was and what should have been said but wasn't and now never will be

This is so exquisite. I could feel his heart-wrenching pain. For me, it started with the words "marble cold body." Ah, regret! I love this cautionary tale about it. So very well done, Gypsy...yet again!

cool goodbye letter
you did a great job writing it from a man to his late wife
with much sorrow and tenderness
weaved between the lines
dripping with emotion
perfect pics and colours, too
thank you for sharing (and for the awesome example for the prompt!)

Who is "Cillian Johnson"? It's always awful when the loved one dies before any time is left to restore the relationship. It seems like the two had a fight and then she was gone. My pastor has been to so many funeral services and he learned from it all that it's important to say how much people mean to us to them while they are still alive!

Thank you for asking, the poem and Cillian Johnson are fictional. I added that in my author notes.
I tell my children and grandchildren and friends I love you all and ever night I give thanks for all of you to God.
Thank you very much, big sister.
I love you
