Nice title. Never thought of seasons of the mind before. Guess it could represent the seasons metamorphosis wise. Metamorphicly. Could represent depression, the mind going through darkness and the cold. There is beauty with my no warmth. A winter wonderland watching diamond dust fall. Going in circles on an ice carousel. Clever perspective here. A warm cup of JO will rejuvenate the cold incubus. Nicely done! BOO!

    Thank you so much for your wonderful review and perspective. The poem is about depression and I feel that winter tends to be where I find comfort at certain times. And there is exquisite beauty there. However, every season is special in some way on their own. I have to transition out of the winter wonderland to be reminded of that ❤️

This is a perfect example that you can't stop tomorrow from walking through the door. We can't stop or change mother nature so it's best to just learn to embrace it. Good job. Good luck. Have a blessed day

Every single person in the universe has dark times, even if they do not share this. I am sorry you are currently in one. Your writing, however, is quite well done.
In the author's notes, you might want to mention that banausic means mundane, same old, same old.
Not many people have a vocabulary as big as ours.:-)

I think fall is very beautiful. It's my favorite season. The leaves the falling leaves they're so beautiful. I know it gets cold but lately our fall have been warm. It doesn't get cold until November December.

And yes, things can be beautiful without warmth. But you still need warmth.
