Hi Wendy,
I'm sorry to hear this news about Blondie. You know, my thoughts strayed as I read this piece. I wonder how Sunny feels about his friend. All he knows is that Blondie is missing from his life. Visiting seniors or sick children won't be the same without him.

Hugs,
Kimbob

Sunny will understand something has happened, I am sure, as it probably means I will get a new partner for one of the hospitals. We'll both miss Blondie enormously. Thank you so much for this compassionate review, much appreciated.

I am so sorry for your friend's ill health. Dog, bird, or person illness is illness. While I was reading the song Danny Boy was playing in my head. Odd that. You have my best wishes and prayers for you and yours. Karen

Oh, NO!!!!!!!!!!! Wendy, I am so sorry to hear this news. As a bigtime lover of dogs, especially ones so well-socialized and gentle, it kills me to hear what happened! I am praying for this sweet dog right now!

As for your writing skill -- no question. When something is written well enough to evoke this kind of a response, it goes without saying, yes?

This is a nice story about a therapy dog whose natural instinct caused him life threatening trouble. Therapy dogs are well liked in the hospitals.
Congratulations on your wins and good luck with this poem.

Hello Wendy,
that's just tragic. It would seem that a dog would be able to sense the poison, but I guess not. I'm sorry that she's not going to be able to continue on in something that she so obviously enjoyed. I imagine Sunny is missing her too. Thanks for sharing this.
Blessings,
Tom

Thanks so much Tom. I think the rat poison might not have had any scent, and maybe tasted okay so rats would ingest it. Many thanks for your caring revview.

I'm so sorry to hear of Blondie's illness and decline. That's very sad. I'm sure she'll be lovingly remembered by many. Thanks for sharing her story with us.

Such a sad story, Wendy. It starts out so delightfully with a wonderful description of Blondie, who works her way easily into everyone's heart. It's so sad that her apparent gluttony is having such a horrible impact on her health and that the end seems apparent. I'm sure the family is devastated. I'm devastated, and I'm just hearing a story about it.

This was very well and compassionately written.

Thank you Jim, for your understanding and compassion. Yes, the family are very upset, and feel a measure of guilt too. I appreciate your kindness.

Wendy,
A very-written, though sad story.
I'm sorry that such a beautiful, loving dog is sick.
I live in a community where my dog is loved. I am no. lol. She is a good (though uncertified) therapy dog.z
You write this so well, Wendy. I hope your future stories will be as nice, though not as sad.
Great story, Wendy.
Cindy

Thank you so much for your very kind and caring review. I am sure your dog is as beautiful and caring as Blondie too. I think most well loved dogs offer therapy - it's just their nature. I hope too my next story will be a happy one. Thanks again.

You and your canine friends could have easily competed with Lassie from the 50's and 60's
I remain amazed at your activity level
Such a kind, loving person
