Mother Earth gives very wet and sloppy kisses!! Who knew? I guess she gives what her recipients need. Sweet poem, accompanied by the loveliest and most pertinent of photos. Good luck in the Nature 3-5-3 Poem Contest!! xoxo

This is a nice entry for the Nature 3-5-3 writing prompt competition. Your photo is a nice complement to the picture you paint with your words. A dewy morning in summer can present a beautiful scene reminding us of the good things mother earth provides. Nicely done!

The writing is so small. But, the picture is pristeen and the poetry is ethereal. Well done. All this moving stuff wears me out. Enjoy your weekend, Karen

-Nice artwork and presentation, Jess.
-A well written poem with effective
imagery and personification, Jess.
-You get our attention in the opening
lines as the "saplings wake."
-A very good second line, and
a good reference to "mother earth"
who takes care of her world.
-A very good entry; good luck!

We too, awaken as saplings wake to each new day filled with opportunity and possibility. Your poem directs our focus to the beauty and wisdom of nature. The picture of your beautiful dew kissed sprig perfectly compliments your poetry. Best wishes in the contest.

Very nice, fits the 3-5-3 and subject matter criteria. It evokes nature and natural growth (obviously influenced by the image used!). Well done!

Ciao!
I love to see the morning dew on my patch of green. It starts to glisten like tiny gems as the sun rises.
I also love that bright yellow/green of new growth. Often I get the urge to eat it.
After a downfall, I go out and drink the last raindrops on the tips of the leaves.

WE are always so busy with our own lives that we take the nature around us for granted at times. Everything under goes changes, especially things that grow, as mother nature provides the necessities of life in beautiful yet small ways.
