Hey, there I'm back again...I keep trying. Lol.

You weren't discreet when you argued with Eleanor at the *galley* the other day."
(Should this be gallery?)

Eleanor, perched on the mantel, smiled and thought, "It's not over yet, not by a long shot."
(Thoughts should be in italics, not quotes. Quotes=spoken)

she'd been well aware of how her family would react except for her murder.
(I didn't understand what this meant. The 'except' is throwing me off).

I can feel the temperature rising and tempers flaring.
Nicely written with just the right mix of angst and intrigue.
There's certainly much finger pointing and unrest in this crowd.
Lead on author, lead on.
Blessings
Shirley

I'm amazed that you are even familiar with the color names of Levi's, but why would I have ever doubted you staying up with the particulars on everything. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Money grubbing numbskulls. Why is there so much greed? Their need can never be met. They are trying to fill a hole that has no bottom.Good writing here.

Now there's a twist! Eleanor has given her family tasks in order to get their inheritance. We also learn that no one knew she had a lot of money, or that she painted under an assumed name. The ghost of Eleanor is bumping about causing mischief, while her loyal friend, Jenna.

Great job,
Rhonda

I think she is enjoying payback for how many times she was ignored by her family because they thought she was old, poor and boring.

Splendid pen picture of Craig Winslow and well contrasted against that of Detective Donatelli. Both leap from the page. Now a murder and Eleanor behaving like a poltergeist. Whatever next?

This is very good. I would not be able to put this book down. The poor woman had such a disgusting family, she certainly needed to teach them a lesson.

Now that's what I like to here. I love a book (and a reader) when the book holds your attention and you can't stop reading. Best compliment yet!
    Thank you so much.

Ah, Eleanor's a doppelgänger really, she can throw things around, she is fun loving, and a great sense of occasion, she had never had much use for money, but lots of talent, the callous recipients of the will will probably regret their attitudes. Heh heh, well done Carol, good post, blessings Roy

Yes, Eleanor cares more about people than she does money. And she definitely believes in having fun. I think she will be a treat to have around.
    Thanks so much, Roy.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Oh this is going to be fun. You have formed some very strong characters and the plot moves quickly, not even allowing for my critical eye to find anything I can correct...smiles. Esther

After we get past the will reading, I think the chapters will move easier and faster. It's hard to get the tasks in place, but I hope Eleanor lightens the mood. LOL
Thank you as always. You are awesome!

Ah, Carol, so you're.continuing with the ghosts. I like that. What a horrible family. You build this up nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing what the tasks are. A hug, Ulla xcx

Thanks Ulla...It's a fysfunctional family for sure...something I've had my share of. I hope Eleanor's thoughts are to help them not only find themselves but to help other at the same time. While someone solves her murder.
