Yes, God does dwell in each of us. We just need to allow Him to work within us. Sometimes our humanness takes over and we don't allow Him to guide our path. Your presentation as beautiful as is your poem. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

It is,a lesson to all of us, that we should be humble in our lives, or we shall be humbled in the final analysis. This is brought out strongly by your words. I think you meant, dwell, although duel works in a different context. As it may very well refer to the struggle between the Christ and the sin in each of us.
Well written, and use of tercets tgat connect the ideas.

Thank you very much, RJ. I corrected that error another reviewer mentioned it too. I'm grateful for the helpful fanstorians, I learn a lot and it's nice to have another pair of eyes to catch stupid errors.
Thank you very much for your excellent review and kind words.

great tercet suite - thought-provoking, well-written, and quite calming...

You are getting my last six for the week. Your take on the sun god and then crediting the true God with creation and being the Alpha and the Omega was perfect. Thank you for sharing. Gretchen

I always liked the name of Alpha and Omega - the beginning and the end of the Greek alphabet symbolizing our never-ending, eternal Creator God. I like your reflection on this our true God as opposed to the sun which has been revered as a "god" by many ancient cultures.
I wasn't sure about your last line "and he duels in us" - is there a battle within us? Or did you mean "dwells"?

Hello, sister. Your awesome review and feedback mean a lot coming from you. I had three or four friends bringing up 'dwells ' I'm lucky to have you all watching my back.

I like the imaginative way here in which you approach your God. On the one hand you're in awe of Him and he is omniscient. On the other I read ambivalence, perhaps, that you want to pull away from his omnipotence. But I may be wrong? A powerful verse expressed from the heart. Thanks for sharing, Gypsy. Take care Debbie

It was about my higher power and my love for Him. I don't get too religious about it but it was not about pulling away from God. I tried to show a juxtaposition between old gods and God.
Thank you very much, Debbie. I'm always grateful for your honest and positive reviews.
Have a wonderful weekend.
