This is a a exceptional entry in the A Poem About A Hobby contest and the favorite to win. This is a hobby many in the world share. There is a jewelry maker back home in Bermuda that has mastered the art of crafting beautiful gifts of charms, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and rings from sea glass. It truly is like finding buried treasure. I wish I had another six stars to give you. You've earned a 10+++ star review from me.
All the best in the contest,
Eugene

This is a very nice and well written poem about your hobby of beachcombing for sea glass. I love to collect things from the sea. You used great descriptive words and very lovely imagery from the artwork you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

This is a beautiful poem about a wonderful hobby. It brings back memories of an aunt of mine who passed away over 2 years ago who loved to find seaglass on the beach, everytime I go now I search for seaglass in her memory. Well done and best of luck in the competition

This hobby poem, Sea Glass, introduces to me, if not many others, this seaside hunt for these weathered and formed pieces that are so nice to look at.

I can truly understand why you would enjoy "beachcombing for sea glass." Those smooth, glossy pieces are pretty. I had no idea red ones were the rarest. One word that really does not belong in any poem is SO. You use it four times in this one.

A very striking photo inviting the reader to share the poet's hobby of 'Beachcombing for seaglass,' and this hobby has got an extra aspect 'I hear the roaring of the sea.' Has my vote!

I really enjoyed reading your well written rhyming poem, mystery writer, and I actually learned something...What is that glass...does it come from people leaving things behind... As much as I love the Beach, I never thought of such a hobby...Sounds like fun!
Good Luck in the contest, this is a good entry...Thanks for sharing!
Warmly,
Victoria

Thank you the glass came from an island where the people resettled. The glass washes up on the beach.

You're welcome, it was my pleasure...collecting those pieces sounds interesting...like I said, I never thought of such a thing, but I guess different areas have different ways to enjoy the beach.
I'm glad you enjoy doing what sounds like fun!...
Warmly,
Victoria
