I remember the psalms which David wrote, usually when he was in a sticky situation being pursued by Saul, who decided David was his mortal enemy, because David was chosen by God as the next king. Well done, good write, blessings Roy

Death is a tricky thing to talk about. It's challenging on multiple levels, due to personal and cultural beliefs and practices. For some, the concept of dying is very scary while for others, it is hopeful and expectant. The feelings that are experienced fall largely along lines of tradition, belief, and preparation. The family and friends who are left behind may experience their grief in very different ways but their perspective is often experienced along the same lines. If one believes there is a benevolent God it tends to alleviate anxiety. For nearly everyone the dying process is challenging and impossible to determine length and severity of pain. Thanks for putting in two words some of the angst that is often prevalent at that moment of passing.
