This is terrific. You do a wonderful job of sharing a tense moment! I love how you wrote this. The use of alliterative phrases like "sinister savage, sleek, shiny, silver skin shark" adds to the intensity of the scene, emphasizing the danger she faced. The ending, with Susie safely reaching the shore, brings a sense of relief! Well done! This is a difficult challenge. But it works "so so so" well with your poem!
