Thank you very much.

Hahahaha! Hmm... One would think that this author is a tad obsessed with the letter "c", but then it IS a contest asking for it (to state the obvious).
Much enjoyed! Good luck. :)

"crazy" does not begin to describe some of the contests FanStory, and its membership, come up with. Would have to include this one in the mix, for sure.
Many "contestants," as you referred to them, in these contests can indeed "compose clever creations."
Hand-counted fifty words, so meets that requirement of the contest.

Exactly my thoughts. At first I was scornful and thought the contest was ridiculous (and still do) and had no intentions of entering. Then my stupid brain clicked in with first sentence complete. Ah well. Thanks so much for reviewing.

Hello Anon,
Well done. This isn't an easy challenge, but you've managed a comprehensible tale. My only suggestion is that "causing" may make more sense as "cause" (Conversely, cringeworthy corny crackpots contrast, causecacophonous, clashing, catastrophic calamities. Just a suggestion.
Well done - I wish you well with your continued writing.
cheers

Thank you Phill for your very thoughtful review. I appreciate your suggestion, especially because I felt that was the weakest bit. I have now reworked that part, and hope it is better. Many thanks. I appreciate your thoughtful review.

wow. You did an amazing job with this contest. Everything made sense and it read like a complete story and all using words starting with the letter c only. NOT EASY! I hope you do well in the writing prompt.

You've done such a great job of using the one letter C, I don't no how you did, you must be on a winner, I don't think I've seen such a prolific alliterate work before, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

Well done. I saw this contest and decided to not enter because of the complexity of using only the same letter. I applaud your effort and wish you luck in the contest.

Thank you Thesis. You are right. With my choice of the letter C I didn?t have the help of little words like "to" and "the" etc. but it was a fun thing to try. Many thanks for your positive review.
