Omigoodness!! What a JOB on this entry!! The feelings are so raw and real, they're little short of palpable. And then, for the perfect cherry on top, you also found the perfect graphic to accentuate your excellent words. I bet I'll be seeing this one in the Winner's Circle. Good luck to you, Mystery Poet!! xo

A sad story, beautifully told in just 30 words. The end of a marriage, or an affair is always heartbreaking. You capture that ending here. I like that you rhymed the lines too.

This is written beautifully abou the loss of love. A loss that moat people at some point in their lifetime has endured. Its so difficult to be left behind grieving for someone who is alive and well but no longer wants to live and breathe along side you anymore. It's really devastating.a great entry for the 30 syllables poem prompt, well done and good luck!

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is painful to read because it brings up personal memories of when my love walked away. "dreams are left to die"... so true. If this didn't happen to you, you have an excellent imagination. If it did happen to you, I'm sorry. Very well done.

    Colorado Owl,

Thank you for your 6 star review. I too share the pain of my love walking away after 17 years of marriage 16 years ago. And yes, dreams of what might have been are left to die.

    All the best,

    BermyBye
