This certainly speaks of a God who is loving, gracious and true, there is no one like Him, I think He's the God of the bible, unseen but felt, seen in visions and in one's but rarely in the light of day, but we know he's.there, well done, blessings Roy

Hi

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!

This is spiritual all right. You write such beautiful passages about your relationship with God.

I've been struggling to be one with God for a while. I believe in Him. I pray to Him

But, still there is something missing. I'm still struggling with a few of the concepts from the Bible like, why is suicide a worse sin than murder? I'm really struggling with that one.

I enjoyed reading your poem

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

It isn't a worse sin. All sin is the same, it's humans that attach a degree to it. And christ died for all sin.
Everyone who genuinely cares about their beliefs, struggles at some point. It's kind of like how there is no perfect relationship because if you allow someone close you also give them the opportunity to hurt you. Everything with value comes with some sort of struggle.
Thank you for your kind words

Your poem fits perfectly with the theme of the contest- how spirituality changes people. My belief in god has been on and off but one thing that I have observed when I pray to God is that I do get the courage to hope regardless of whether things go my way or not. And, maybe when the situation is grim, I can remind myself (as you have beautifully penned down in your last stanza), that perhaps I am growing in his/her rain, and because of him/her I change. Thank you for sharing and wish you great luck for the contest!

Your poem beautifully captures a sense of faith. The imagery of building castles in the sand, washed away by the tide but leaving footprints of divine guidance - wow! That's perfect. It resonates deeply with me.

Thank you for this. It reminds us how important it is to change. That's what we're here for... constantly trying to learn from our mistakes and make tomorrow better than today.
My favorite line is "I am the planet to your sun".
(I'd just correct the spelling of "stength".)
