This is a lovely poem. Descriptive and emotive. The imagery conjured up matches the emotions and the sadness of a lost love. You also chose a good image to support the words. I like this.

I enjoyed your poem. Love the picture. Goes well with the words. I like the words: subdued moonlight. Good luck in the contest.

This is a great entry for 5 lines but also the syllables count. The two combined is a great challenge.
It is a very descriptive poem and I wish you good luck in the contest.

Hello Beth. I enjoyed reading this verse and applaud you on a creative and well-written piece. This is a tear jerker for me... I feel so sorry for your main character and can understand how moonlight can draw the sadness into the night. Great write.

This poem was beautiful and sad. Lost love always gets to me, and you described this well. You also got the syllable count right. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This five-line poem, Missing Him, has the proper formatting and sets up the atmosphere to make the fond memories possible and the ambiance especially sublime.

There is something so magical about moonlight filtering into a room at night. It's the perfect atmosphere to conjure up sweet memories of love from long ago. This is a beautiful piece!

Beth,
Your five-line poem is melancholy; you set this ambiance using 'moonlight' and 'clouds,' utilizing a photo with deep, somber colors.
Your presentation is excellent.
Good luck,
Cindy

Your poem is beautiful and beautifully illustrated. I'm glad I had a 6 left because this one was so well written and tender, and it spoke to my heart as well.
