Hello Mark. I enjoyed reading this verse and applaud you on a creative and well-written piece. I love the idea of waves tickling my toes, but the beach is too far away, so I have to make do with the local swimming pool... I'm not complaining! Hope your summer is wonderful.

Melissa,
For the past week we spent with family at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe VT so our toes were only tickled by the indoor and outdoor pools. We are overnighting Sunday night near Lake Champlain, but will not be dipping in the same.
Take care for your summer too!

It is K!
You are closer to the ocean than I am, so enjoy those toe tickles.

P.S. We (children and grandchildren) are all together at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT until Sunday. The ?sound of music? is really felt in this locale (-;

Mark, I have not been to any beach yet, but your poem describes the features that I love best: strolling in sand, feeling a breeze across my cheeks and the waves tickling my toes. Today on TV I watched a lifeguard telling me what to do if caught in a rip tide. Rod

Rod,
No rip tides for me, but once or twice I tumbled into the water when a big wave hit me. Walking or running on the beach at the waterside is certainly a happy time.
Thanks for your comments and support for my post.

Hi, Mark. I hope you are well
This is a compelling image of bodies receiving Pleasant stimuli
First, the caressing of the breezes on the face. Then the feeling of water on your toes, which is another way of being caressed
Who Can't remember being on the beach and feeling these things? I can't even remember the last time I went to the beach and I live on the coast of California. But I'm also very disabled and nobody would be able to take me to the beach. My wheelchair would sink in the sand.
I enjoyed reading your poem
Good job. Thank you for sharing.

My guess there are accessible beaches near you where your wheelchair will not sink in. Regardless you can enjoy the sun caressing you and the stimuli of that moment.

Your poem has me craving a day in the waves! In Maine, that isn't an easy fix lol Lovely job on the poem and the artwork adds to the presentation. Nicely done.

Yes Marilyn, the ocean waters are very cold in your region. However, the sun still can warm your body no matter what season you enjoy.
Thanks for your kind review.
