I wondered if 'pass' should be 'past' in the last line but I could well appreciate either. Your theme of emptiness and barrenness is well portrayed in this beautifully presented post. Thanks for sharing, Gypsy. Debbie

Now I'm wondering why those seeds of love didn't grow. Is it because of her choice or is it because the person who planted them didn't cultivate them? Inquiry minds want to know. LOL Great job.

One of beautiful things about haiku and other Japanese poetry is that it means different things to different people. The magic is in pondering what is the meaning.
Personally, I was thinking about a gypsy furtune teller who told me, "you are going to have many husbands but the relationships will not last." She was right. I married four times aond I divorced four times. I don't know how to chose a good man. Being bipolar doesn't help either. I gave up searching for a husband.

It's a marvellous thing to think that we have seeds deposited within us that may never mature because the lack of sunshine is not there to help to make them germinate, only rain and tears, beautifully written, blessings Roy
