Ciao mystery poet, you now have 4 votes.
There is something so vitalising waking up to birds singing especially in Spring.
It's a sign that nature is awakening after a long cold winter.
Soon the swallows will be back and the air will be filled with blossom scent.

Wings
FLAPPING as songbirds sing

I think this was a great entry for the 1-6-1 writing prompt. You got the syllable count and rhyming right. I liked your mental image of a songbird flapping. The picture you supplied was great, as well. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
