Ah! An interesting new character revealed! The interaction of these characters will be interesting and exciting to follow. i w3as a bit surprised at Demi's lack of tact, but it served to propel the action.

Yah, plus he was salty about having to go there in the first place. Demi is mature in everything except emotions since he?s spent most of his life ignored.

All of us must have a test to show our true worth. This story reminds me of an old sci-fi fave Things to Come. The Walking sickness is like your taints. What a wonderfully written chapter. Best of luck with your book!
