My wish came true! When all else fails get the ghosts to scare the Mafioso guys! I laughed out loud...
Those tough guys fold like a cheap suit with a few chandelier "scares" and "somebody" touching them!
Madeline's rescued... and this gal isn't going to bed NOW!

Glad you loved this part! I know I did! Taking out some of my "anger" and getting even with the Mafia guys felt good. LOL I'm bad! I'll put a pot of coffee on too!

I'm happy you are on board with this change of adding the gangsters (though the theme was there in the beginning). Many had not picked up on that I guess. Anyhow, I truly appreciate your support and comments.

The bad guys are human as is Madeline and they try to drown her in a water tower. The ghosts they can't see frighten them so badly they flee. The ghosts then rescue Madeline. I have to wonder how they can move things, like Madeline, if they don't really have solid bodies. Might need to make a suggestion here.

A few, like Billy and Benny, can materialize into earthly bodies (I have no idea if it's possible with a true ghost since I've never met one) but that's where my mind went with this story. I am always open to suggestions. Thanks so much for your support and review.

I'm exhausted.What a terrifying experience and adventure. Just when I thought I could relax, William is missing and gangsters are trying to drown Madeline. Through all of the ghostly mystery, you manage to include bits of humor which adds to the enjoyment of the story. See you in the next chapter.

Oh dear. Poor Madeline. I noticed the repeat sentence in the prologue where it talks about Frankie still needs a fix. This one was fault free and read very quickly with building tension right through the rescue. Well done. You are going to make Esther a brave woman yet! Es
