As is the fate of us all, hopefully we stand sturdy and strong throughout life. Your poem provokes thought. I like that. It flows well and although the life of the tree is ending, at least, it is going out in a blaze of glory.

Trees are so majestic, I love them. I've always had trees in my garden, and feel sad when I see them cut down. Some have been there over a thousand years, especially Olive trees. But our majestic Oak, is such a beautiful tree and it's sacrilege to cut them down. And then there is what they are doing to the Rain Forest. Breaks my heart. This is a fabulous poem, Santha, speaking as a tree to show how sad it feels. I'm sorry I do tend to get on my soad box when I see trees cut down because "they spoil my view" or "I want to grow flowers there" and many other selfish reasons. I'm off again, LOL! Well done, my friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

This choka highlights a tree's death with a dignified purpose. However, rain forests being denuded for pure commerce gain is unacceptable. That creates a depletion of oxygen in the atmosphere. Some balance needed here.

This is a good poem about the death and reuse of the tree from the tree's point of view. It shows the good and bad sides of fire. I like the color scheme of fire colors.
I think you should make the font darker, It is hard to read.

Across the World the hunger for wood continues; we are losing our Koalas because greed cuts down eucalyptus trees, the leaves are the staple diet of out Koala. Obviously, houses and furniture come before our native animals. Your poem said it all in the Choka style. Good wishes with your club entry. K xx
