So MariVal... feeling hot-hot-hot(((((((((((((((((((((((.
The first two lines bring a lyrical and romantically playful melody leading and leaning into your intent. How so very brave of you... both slave and lord... oh no, I could, or would not get away with muttering the lord perspective:))

Well, the second verse wrapped me up within the dreamy-romantic prospect of what this image evokes... yes please!

Beautiful Marival, beautiful!

With our thoughts we create...
the longings of our heart.

Warmest regards,
James.

    Hello, James,

Hahaha ... this one was a little over the top, yesterday I challenged myself to write from a man's point of view ... I am not sure if I did well or not ... but I haven't gotten any complaints yet. LoL I am an empath so it's easy to put myself in somebody else's shoes. I think you are an empath as well. It's another thing we share.

When my ex and I were together, we took turns being a slave or a lord/lady, it's fun. Roleplaying is a good way to keep it interesting. We never had problems with that part of our relationship.

I am happy you liked it. Of the two I wrote yesterday, this one is my favorite.

    Besitos y abrazos, amigo mio,

    MariVal

I think that men, speaking from my own experience, are pretty basic creatures generally speaking. We would no doubt yearn in the ways you have expressed, but mostly would not express it so eloquently.
Your words are well written, and the imagery is passionate.

Some poets express love and romance eloquently, such as, Pablo Neruda and Federico Garcia Lorca. They inspire me. I know many poets have this talent but for the regular man is hard, you are right.

    Thank you very much, RJ

Very sensual and full of passion driven by love and lust. This was a beautiful poem full of imagery that enhanced the feeling. The line "...I'm your slave and your lord," was it I'm your lord or you're lord? Could have been either. I very rarely find a grammatical mistake so I'm guessing it's as you posted it. Beautifully written. Gretchen

I meant he is her slave and her lord... as in both ways. I think is more fun when you can take turns. LoL

Thank you for the lovely review, my friend. Have a wonderful weekend.

Another very passionate and sensual offering, melting into the heat of summer with those "sheets drenched with dreams of you." As ever, beautifully expressed and presented. Thanks for sharing, Gypsy. Debbie
