My very intelligent son, Steven, would blow off spelling tests in school. I couldn't figure out why when everything else came easy. I had a talk with him, and he said, "Why learn to spell, computers have spell-check." GRR, anyway, good luck with the contest. I enjoyed reading.

Good grief Bunyan. Get back on the drugs or off. I don't know you like that. Funny you write that. Grammarly has been kicking me in the junk ever since I got it. It's like I have no creative freedom just to write. It has locked me up completely. This poem is like my thoughts when a new story pops into my head.

It's overkill, I know, and no doubt will sink to the bottom of the cess pit. It's supposed to highlight how dyslexic writers are often judged as 'Doh!' because of different brain processes...ok, drugs coming up, or down...I wandered lonely as a Saab...

I just think you have a whole lot of fun composing your contest entries and must be a great lady to go out with for a laugh and a drink! Your personality shines through yet another of your compositions. And once I pass through the pain of these misspellings, I can smile too:)) Great job with the prompt. Good luck! Debbie

I'd be more than happy to go out for a drink with you, Debbie, if you're ever in the Hertfordshire area. And yes, it would be a good night!

I got a laugh out of this. I'm not even going to bother checking your spelling and grammar, since that would defeat the purpose. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
