Yes, our purpose is to glorify God in a way that honors and show reverence. That can be done by giving and giving what is good.
To glorify God is to extol His attributes, this I found online. I knew how to answer but I wanted to look it up.

This may not be true anymore with Covid and all. But we used to practically force children to share their lunches and share their snacks with other children.
And then we're grown up and the last thing we would do would be to share what we have with other people. There may be a select group. Of people we're closer to. And within that group we may share.
Of course, what you were talking about is what the Lord wants us to do
Nice rhyming scheme, although the last stanza didn't rhyme. Given and Living don't rhyme. But if you change living to livin, they would rhyme. I don't know. The requirement is a rhyming poem. Below is a try. Your original text followed by a suggestion
" The meaning of life is quite simple,
be grateful for what you are given.
Sharing with others whenever we can,
is the meaning of this life we're living."

Or something like that. Maybe in your part of the world living is pronounced livin
Pretty good rhythm and flow.
