Author,
This is an excellent entry for the love poem contest.
I especially like the contrasting statement, "veiled, and yet known."
I also like the strength in your last stanza.
Good luck in the contest.

-Very nice artwork and poem to go with it.
-Your opening verses establish the situation;
the alliteration in verse two is used well to
emphasize the fact that your paths crossed.
-It sounds like he came along at the right
time and you appreciated each other
so that you had faith in your love for him.
-I like your comparison with wind.
-A very good closing verse with the
musical references showing you
will never be the same.
-A very good entry; good luck!!

"A poem inspired by the movie A Walk To Remember" Never saw this movie. What year was it released?
"Lost am I, wandering the valley of death." Oh my, what bleak, dark imagery.
"You have faith in your God's infinite plan.
You are my inspiration, my soul, my salvation" Very nice, very good.
"That I may pluck one from heaven,
And give it your name." Good metaphoric imagery.
Nice love poem. Good luck in the contest!

Thank you so much!
It was released in 2002 and it's a great movie. I don't typically like romance films unless it's a mixed genre but this is the exception.
Here:
Set in North Carolina, "A Walk To Remember" follows the rite of passage of a jaded, aimless high school senior (Shane West) who falls in love with a guileless young woman (Mandy Moore) he and his friends once scorned. The two develop a powerful and inspirational relationship in which they discover truths that take most people a lifetime to learn

Excellent entry for the Love Poem Poetry Contest. Jesus love is pure and constant no matter what. It's a hopeful beautiful message.

Love like the wind.
Felt but not seen.
Veiled, and yet known."

I love the way this sounds when I read it! My favorite part was, "you are my inspiration, my soul, my salvation singing in all that I am." Great job, and well written!

This poem, A Walk to Remember, takes the sense of love into the stars as this admiration and love becomes the measured within the cosmos of possibilities.
