Your story is a straightforward tale of the state of the world today. I'm also sick of wars, and the violence they perpetuate.
I too see Odin the military--during peace time, though, and our environment was pretty lax for the Army.

I like your entry. You, I do believe, hit it right on the nose. I'm not gonna downgrade your entry because this; but, why are some sentences put in at the halfway point. Halfway on the wrong side. Take a look and see if you can fix it.

A nice post! I get it--it can be annoying when you get updates about the latest news when you're just trying to enjoy some TV, but it's important to be updated on current events. The story was well-worded and kept me intrigued. Well done!

A wonderful entry for the Song Stories contest. I just managed to see that music advertisment on You Tube a few weeks for the first time in probably 50 years! But I sat there and sang every word right along with it and it took me back to my high school days in blue jeans, midriff sweaters and saddle shoes. I would go back to that world in a second! Good luck in the contest.
