You sent me on a journey through that place that you like to go. Is it in Minnesota because you mentioned Minnesota in your poem and I didn't know why. But, that's not that important to your story
You were very brave to write a poem of that legs within a mono rhyme fashion. You did a good job rhyming everything and the flow was very good.
You did a good job describing the scenery around you and your emotions at the time. You were to be commended for this.

Near the edge of the field, where wildflowers grow,
next to the cold clean river, with its calming flow,
a mother deer passes close, with her fawns in tow,
when it's solitude I seek, here, is where I go.

And when I need to escape from my hassle, I take a walk in my pine forest. It's very soothing.

This is just beautiful, mystery poet. Normally, this type of rhyme drives me crazy. However, yours is done in such a way it flows like a stream. My vote for sure. Sending along my very best today as always, and my best wishes for the upcoming contest.
