But how do we know Halloween came in June. I like your poem. I just think one of the requirements for this contest is to show that Halloween came early in June. The way you have it it's still in October. Do you see what I mean?

Thanks, Pamusart. You make a good point. The title of the Contest refers to June but the prompt stating the requirements makes no such reference. Some ambiguity, it seems. If my piece is disqualified on that basis I?ll take it on the chin. Cheers.

Hi, again. I have just looked at the other entries. All but one have ignored the reference to June. Maybe it was just intended to remind us that we were being invited to write about Halloween right now, in the current month of June. Who can be sure? But as things stand if I am dqd there will only be one piece left, so the contest would be null and void.
