Loved that little story. Sweet. Makes me think of judgement day: Do we feed Jesus? Or do we just talk about helping the poor and do nothing? Lord open my eyes to those in need of You! Esther

I think we're treating Middle East veterans better than we did veterans back then
Poor soldiers in Vietnam were ridiculed for fighting this "unjust" war. Many committed suicide.
Did you mean Korean War below?
But, I think the lavish lady could afford to do both. Both give him money for his cup and buy a hit dog. (Maybe even buy a hit dog for him. I'm disappointed in her.
